Welcome

This Foundation was created in memory of our loving son, Kene Daniel Madueke who passed on the 30th of January 2022 (17 years) after being diagnosed with terminal cancer a year earlier. Kene was courageous, loving and brought joy to all of us. He taught us a lot about life, and we will continue to celebrate his life

# About KDM FOUNDATION

Our VISION

Remembering Kene, whilst supporting teenagers 16-19 diagnosed with cancer or any terminal illness

Our Motivation

Kene was an intelligent, responsible young man, who had a fantastic future ahead of him. He was very popular at school and had predicted A level grades of straight As in Physics, Maths & Economics. We are driven by this and want to ensure that teenagers 16-19 with cancer or a terminal illness, who are academically gifted like Kene, have the opportunity to continue to pursue their academic career, whilst receiving treatment.

Our Team

  • Udoka Madueke (Kene's father and chair of foundation)
  • Yvonne Madueke (Kene's mother)
  • Elizabeth Solaru (Private entrepreneur)
  • Alison Millard (Teacher & Proprietor of KIP McGrath-Potters Bar)
  • Isitoa Uwaechia (Private enterpreneur)

We are focused on making the maximum positive effort for teenagers with cancer . Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us achieve our mission.
